Beware! Fraudulent phishing emails are currently being circulated on behalf of Securex.

Read our tips and don't get fooled!

Unfortunately, our name is currently being misused by scammers trying to obtain personal data. This scam is in no way linked to Securex!

The security of our systems and the protection of customer data is an absolute priority for us. We never ask for bank details, passwords or other private data via a link in an email. For this, Securex only uses the customer portal and websites accessible via www.securex.eu.

Here are some tips on how to outsmart scammers. And we explain what you can do if you did become  victim of phishing.

TIPS - don't get fooled by phishing

1.    Pay attention to the sender

We only send e-mails with "...@securex.be" as the sender. All other names or abbreviations do not come from us. Real examples of fake senders:

securesex@tixstock.com,
ruggnkepp@t-online.de,
uberalldk@t-online.de,
noreply@securexbelgie.com,
noreply@sxbelgie.com
miyoshi@sanogumi.co.jp
postmaster@gotex.be

2.    Don't click on suspicious links

How can you tell if a link is suspicious? Hover over the link in the email to make the URL appear. Is this a suspicious link with strange characters or names or that do not end in securex.eu, securex.be, securex.fr or securex.lu ? Then the email is not from us. Do not click on the link!

 3.    Beware of urgent messages

Does the sender of the e-mail request an urgent reply or action from you? Then don't respond. We at Securex do not send e-mails with high urgency. And under no circumstances would we simply close or deactivate your account.

4.    Watch out for spelling mistakes

Fraudulent emails often contain spelling mistakes, capital letters or multiple exclamation marks. We never send such e-mails.

Having doubts about the authenticity of an e-mail?

Contact our customer service department at helpdesk@securex.be or on 078 05 90 10.

Have you received a phishing message where the Securex name is falsely used?

Do not click on the link in the e-mail. Forward the e-mail to suspicious@safeonweb.be and helpdesk@securex.be . Then delete the e-mail from your mailbox.

Are you victim of phishing?

Safe on Web recommends reporting it to the local police immediately. You should also contact your bank or Card Stop (078 170 170) if you have passed on bank details, if money has disappeared from your bank account or if you have transferred money to a fraudster.
