Privacy Statement Securex enterprise counter Go-Start

Who are we?      

Securex enterprise counter Go-Start. Hereinafter referred to as "Securex enterprise counter", with registered office located in 1040 Brussels, Tervurenlaan 43, TVA BE 0480.270.952, RPR Brussels, and which can be reached by e-mail at the address starter@securex.be.  

Securex Enterprise Counter undertakes to process your personal data in accordance with the European Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter "General Data Protection Regulation or AVG").  

Securex Enterprise Counter attaches great importance to protecting privacy and your feedback. 

For what purpose do we process your personal data?  

Securex enterprise counter processes your personal data in execution of your mandatory administrative procedures and formalities as an entrepreneur towards various government bodies. We may also process your personal data for and during numerous additional services offered, such as legal and administrative support, business coaching, advice and training.    

What is the legal basis for processing the aforementioned personal data?   

The legal basis for the processing of your data is formed by the assignment or service agreement you initiate for obtaining advice as a starting entrepreneur, for fulfilling your administrative formalities towards various authorities and/or in execution of a wide range of additional services for which you call upon Securex enterprise counter. 

  • The mandatory legal duties, procedures and formalities of an enterprise counter 
  • Additional business office services: application federal; regional, state and local permits 
  • Legal and administrative support, business coaching and training, first-line advice on obligations and costs, optimization of business processes and organizational structure 

The legal basis for processing your data as a Securex enterprise counter member entrepreneur is the legitimate interest of Securex with regard to 

  • The Customer Contract and Customer Relationship Management: for business operations, data management and its optimization and automation  
  • Direct marketing activities: to promote the services of Securex Enterprise Counter, as well as those of the other entities of Securex to its customers

How long will your personal data be kept?  

Your data will be kept by Securex enterprise counter during the processing of your requests and the execution period of the agreement and as long as necessary for the evaluation of your rights and obligations.  

What data is processed?  

A "personal data" can be defined as any information about an identified or identifiable natural person (= data subject).  

Listed below are the personal data Securex enterprise counter processes regarding entrepreneurs:  

  • Social and administrative data (including name, first name, national registration number, date of birth, address, company number...)  
  • Contact information (address, phone number, e-mail address...)  
  • Family data 
  • Professional data and training and education 
  • Financial data  

This personal data can be provided either by yourself, or by an accountant or tax advisor representing you, or through link with the Crossroads Bank of Social Security.  

With whom may we share your data?  

In execution of the agreement and/or as provided by law, Securex enterprise counter will only share your personal data with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises and with other bodies required for the execution of your profession and/or activities (VAT, permit applications, authorizations...).  

Within the limitations of the provisions below, Securex enterprise counter may also share certain of your personnel data with the intermediary (accountant or fiscal advisor) to whom you may have granted power of attorney to manage your data, with our lawyer as well as the authorities competent in this field.  

Some of your data will also be transferred to subcontractors, who provide certain services within the strict context of a subcontracting agreement and for the sole purpose of providing technical assistance to Securex Enterprise Counter.  

Securex enterprise counter shares personal data with other entities of the Securex economic entity if this is necessary or useful for the execution of the affiliation agreement or of separate agreements concluded between the affiliated party and these legal entities of Group Securex. Securex enterprise counter also transfers the contact details of its affiliates to the non-profit organization Groep Securex so that the latter can propose specific insurance products or other HR solutions geared to entrepreneurs, the self-employed and companies (direct marketing) to its affiliates.  

How will your personal data be protected?  

In accordance with current legislation, Securex provides an appropriate level of protection for your personal data. These measures include technical and organizational measures required to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss as well as modification, access and any other unauthorized processing of your personal data.  

Nevertheless, Securex is anxious to inform you that no security system can guarantee 100% security. However, we remain at your disposal for any question or remark regarding the confidentiality and security of your personal data.  

May your data be transferred to third countries (outside the EEA)?  

Securex Enterprise Counter will not transfer personal data to any country outside the EEA.  

If a data transfer to a country outside the EEA would nevertheless be necessary, Securex Enterprise Counter will implement appropriate safeguards in accordance with data protection legislation and ensure that data subjects have enforceable rights and effective remedies.  

To ensure that data subjects have enforceable rights and effective legal remedies, processing and transfer can only take place under one of the following conditions:   

The transfer is made to a country that ensures an adequate level of protection based on the adequacy decisions of the European Commission  

The transfer is made to a (sub)processor to which binding business rules apply. These business rules ensure an adequate level of protection  

The transfer is made to a subcontractor with whom a model agreement has also been concluded (standard contractual provisions, cf. (EU) 2021/914 of June 4, 2021) and for which an additional risk analysis has also been carried out in advance. The contractual provisions and any additional measures resulting from a prior risk analysis or data transfer impact analysis (data transfer impact assessment) must then provide the necessary data protection guarantees.  

If there are no appropriate guarantees around the protection level, Securex enterprise counter will not transfer (or have transferred) personal data to such third countries, unless after consent of the data subject  

What are your rights?  

You can learn about the data processed by Securex enterprise counter and, if necessary, have it corrected by means of a dated and signed request, sent together with a recto-verso copy of your identity card, via e-mail to privacy@securex.be or by mail to Group Securex, Data Protection Officer, Tervurenlaan 43, 1040 Brussels.  

You can also, according to the same modalities, and within the limits established by the AVG (GDPR), oppose the data processing or request that such processing be restricted. You can also request that the data relating to you be deleted or transferred. More information can be obtained at the same address.
