These Functional Fit@desk videos support (office) employees to interrupt their sitting habits, through low-threshold exercise and stretching exercises that can be performed at work or at home.
What will you gain from this training?
After the desk Exercise training with Functional Fit@desk:
- You can easily perform exercises at your own pace to break up your sitting behaviour in a healthy way
- You will be more aware of the detrimental effects of sitting behaviour
- You can incorporate the exercises in your daily work context
By moving more, you limit the consequences of sedentary behaviour, reducing the risk of absence from work due to physical issues.
Programme
Meet Evelyn, the Securex fitness coach. In a journey through twelve short modules, she guides you in small steps to a healthier lifestyle. After a motivational intro explaining her approach, it's up to you. Where and when to exercise? Decide for yourself.
In each module you spend no more than five minutes on each muscle group, body part or exercise/relaxation:
- Shoulders (2 sessions)
- Legs, pelvis and hips (2 sessions)
- Wrists (2 sessions)
- Legs (2 sessions)
- Neck (1 session)
- Back (1 session)
- Full body (1 session)
- Breathing (1 session)
In the outrun video, the coach encourages you to incorporate these exercises in your daily work context.
The modules are available in Dutch, French and English. The intro and outro videos are in Dutch, with French or English subtitles.
